Few days after we received keys, we went for house check. I did a little survey on the internet what to do, what to bring for a house check.
So we brought:
House keys
Masking tape
Sharpie / Pen
Camera (I just used my camera phone)
Water (Penat kot buat house check ni haha)
What we do:
Check every walls, ceilings, pillars, doors, windows, outlet sockets, tiles, knobs, faucets etc. Basically we check everything in the house. Then we mark one by one with number using masking tape and sharpie. I did a little description like crack or rough surface or discolor paint. Don't forget to take all photos you tagged. Masa ni both of us dah start berpeluh. Panas weh. Sila pakai baju nipis dan paling selesa masa buat house check hehe.

Back home, I sort out the photos according to room.
Example:
Master bedroom: Crack 1 & 2
Bedroom 2: Discolor paint
Living room: Rough surface
Once settle sorting everything, I print all photos, fill the defect form and return it to the developer office. Make sure you return it within the given time.
Okay done.
Now, we to wait for couple of weeks (hopefully not months) for them to fix the defects and check the house again. Let's pray nothing major need to fix.
