Water & Electricity Installation

We are among the last few houses to install water & electricity in our taman hehe. Since we are not rushing, we took our sweet time to install it.

I completely leave to husband to deal with this matter.

In our case, husband went to UTC Jalan Hang Tuah last Tuesday to register for Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) and Syarikat Air Melaka Berhad (SAMB). Both counters are located in the same building, in the same floor (3rd Floor). LHDN also in the same floor, just a walking distance to stamping your documents. Save time you know. Just walk from one counter to another hehe

Electricity Registration & Installation (TNB)

Documents required:

1. A copy of CCC

2. A copy of Sales & Purchase agreement

3. Mykad

4. Amount of money for security deposit

We paid RM240.00 (single-phase) for security deposit and RM10.00 for stamp duty. It's important for you to keep the letter issued by them if you want to get back your security deposit in future. TNB contractor will install the meter in 3 working days.

Water Supply Registration and Installation (SAMB)

Documents required:

1. A copy of CCC

2. A copy of Sales & Purchase agreement

3. Mykad

4. Amount of money for security deposit
5. Stopcock (2 units) -- bring along to the house for installation

We paid a total of RM122.40 to SAMB. RM70.00 for security deposit, RM42.40 for new installation and RM10.00 for stamp duty. And, we also paid extra amount to the contractor. RM20.00 for meter installation and RM55.00 for meter lock. Don't forget to bring those stopcocks (that copper thinggy) provided by developer when the contractor come to your house for installation.

Now Snuggland have a basic utilities supply. Alhamdulillah.
